Interval. is a simple interval timer app. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it is stored, and what we (simpleThings.) can and cannot see.
The Short Version
- We do not collect, receive, or share any personal data. We have no servers and no accounts, and the app makes no network requests to us or to anyone else.
- Your workout plans stay on your own devices. simpleThings. cannot access them.
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
What the App Stores, and Where
Your workout plans (name, work duration, rest duration, sets) are saved on your iPhone using Apple's standard UserDefaults. If you use the Apple Watch app, your plans are sent directly from your iPhone to your own paired Apple Watch through Apple's WatchConnectivity. They are never sent to us or to any server.
Device backups. Like other apps, Interval.'s data may be included when you back up your iPhone with iCloud Backup or to your computer, and restored along with that backup. Those backups are created and kept by Apple or on your own computer. We have no access to them.
In-App Purchase
Interval. offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Unlimited Plans"), processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment or billing information. Apple's privacy policy applies: apple.com/legal/privacy
Deleting Your Data
- Workout plans: delete a plan on the home screen by swiping left on it, or by long-pressing it and choosing Delete.
- Deleting the app removes your workout plans and settings from your iPhone. Copies may remain in your own device backups until those backups are replaced or deleted.
- Because we never receive or hold any of this data, there is nothing for us to delete on our side, and no request to make to us.
Children's Privacy
Interval. does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, we will post the new version at this URL and update the date above. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
